The Flyers are 11-1-3 in the last 15 games.
All but one of the Flyers’ 15 homes games thus far have been decided by one goal.
In December, four of the five Flyers' games have gone into overtime.
The Flyers have won one of three shootouts this season.
Simon Gagne on the comeback vs. Carolina and what was said prior to the third period: “He (John Stevens) said those fans pay a lot of money to watch us play and that was not good enough for them to pay that kind of money and see that kind of show, if you want to call it that....I think we gave a pretty good showing in the third period.”

FLYERS' INJURIES:2 Derian Hatcher (right knee damage) is on injured reserve.
6 Randy Jones (right hip surgery) was expected to be out about two months from early October and is on injured reserve.
UPDATE: Practiced with the team for the first time, November 25. Indications are that he should return to the lineup prior to Christmas but could be sent to the AHL as part of a conditioning routine.
25 Matt Carle (sore back) has not played the last five games but there is a 90% chance he will rejoin the team for today's game.
48 Danny Briere is expected to miss about 4-5 weeks from December 3. From Paul Holmgren: "Danny had an MRI today (December 3) on his stomach and groin area. There weren't any issues at all with his stomach but there is a significant groin strain in there and we're looking at Danny to be out of the lineup for 4-5 weeks."
77 Ryan Parent (shoulder surgery) was expected to be out about 12-14 weeks from early October and is on injured reserve.
UPDATE: Practiced with the team for the first time, November 25. He could return in late December.

D Hal Gill (shoulder) is out 2-4 weeks. He was injured Saturday at Ottawa.
C Michael Zigomanis (undisclosed injury) is questionable.
C Max Talbot (undisclosed injury) is questionable after missing practice Friday.
G Marc-Andre Fleury (undisclosed) will be in uniform Saturday. He was injured Nov. 15 against Buffalo.
RW Tyler Kennedy (sprained knee) is out 4-to-6 weeks. He was injured Wednesday at the New York Rangers.
D Sergei Gonchar (left shoulder) had surgery to correct a dislocation Oct. 2. He is out until at least March. He was injured on Sept. 20 in the Penguins’ exhibition opener.

Peter Forsberg (0-4-4) and Gagne (2-2-4, +4, seven shots) each had four points. The Flyers outshot the Penguins 41-20 including 5-0 in OT.
2005 -- November 16 -- Sidney Crosby (2-1-3) scored in the final minute of OT to lift Pittsburgh 3-2. The game was scoreless entering the third period. The Pens scored twice in a 56-second span and then Joni Pitkanen scored a pair of PPGs; the score was tied 2-2 before the third period was seven minutes old. The Flyers outshot Pittsburgh 47-29, the Pens' lone OT shot was the goal.
2005 -- December 23 -- Peter Forsberg and Mike Knuble scored within 1:09 in the last five minutes of the third period to spark the Flyers to a 5-4 victory. The Flyers held a 3-0 lead but the Pens scored the next four, including two by Sidney Crosby in the early third.
2006 -- October 5 -- Pittsburgh won the season opener 4-0 as the Flyers failed on all 10 PP chances. Marc-Andre Fleury set a record for most saves by a goalie in an opening-game shutout. The previous record was 38 by Glenn Hall (Chicago over Boston, 1964) in a 3-0 win.
2006 -- December 13 -- Sidney Crosby (1-5-6) and Sergei Gonchar (1-4-5) led Pittsburgh to an 8-4 win.
2006 -- April 11 -- Jeff Carter's tally with 6:32 to play snapped a 3-3 tie and lifted the Flyers to a 4-3 win. The Flyers scored three second period goals followed by three Pittsburgh goals, the last two coming in the third period.
2007 -- February 8 -- Sidney Crosby scored the lone goal in the shootout in Pittsburgh's 6-5 win. Mike Knuble (2-1-3) scored the last two goals of the game to send the game into OT. Simon Gagne (2-1-3) and Peter Forsberg (0-3-3) also had three points.
2007 -- November 7 -- The Flyers led 2-0 at the 5:33 mark and won 3-1 in the Igloo. Philly was 7-for-7 on the PK. Simon Gagne (dizziness/concussion) was injured by a Gary Roberts check and missed the next 26 games.
2007 -- November 10 -- The Flyers won 5-2 at home scoring four PPGs.
2007 -- December 11 -- Joffrey Lupul and R.J. Umberger had hat tricks for the Flyers in their 8-2 home win. Lupul (3-3-6) had the most points in a game for a Flyers' player since Eric Lindros had six in March 1997; Umberger (3-2-5) had five points. It was the first time two Flyers' players with a hat trick in the same game since 1986. Philly went 4-for-13 on the PP.
2008 -- January 24 -- Mike Knuble's goal lifted the Flyers to a 4-3 win, the third of three goals scored in a span of 92 seconds in the early third period. Jim Vandermeer scored a PPG 3:53 into the final period but Whitney tied the game on a SHG 58 seconds later. Both goals were scored while Georges Laraque was serving a 5-minute major (and a game misconduct) after he drilled Steve Downie from behind head first into the board in the final 10 seconds of the second period. Afterwards Laraque said “Obviously, he wasn't hurt. He got up and smiled and laughed and fought in the third. He did a great job of milking it, and it worked.” Downie also was ejected from the game, nine seconds after Knuble's eventual GWG, for fighting with Ryan Stone. The teams alternated seven goals. R.J. Umberger had three points.
2008 -- February 10 -- Pittsburgh won 4-3 at home on Evgeni Malkin's four points. Simon Gagne played in his 15th straight game after missing the previous 26 but missed much of this contest with a concussion; he did not play in the final 27 regular season games and missed all 16 PO games.
2008 -- March 16 -- The Pens won 7-1 at home sending the Flyers to their 16th loss in the last 21 games. Afterwards, the Flyers won seven of the next nine as the regular season finished. Evgeni Malkin and Petr Sykora (both 2-2-4) had four-point games and Marian Hossa scored his first goal as a Penguin.
2008 -- April 6 -- In the regular season finale, the Flyers won 2-0 in a victory that helped elevate them to a sixth seed while the Penguins settled for second in the East. Martin Biron stopped all 20 shots. Jeff Carter and Mike Knuble each had two points. Sidney Crosby was scratched.
2008 -- May 9 -- In Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals in Pittsburgh, the Pens won 4-2. Evgeni Malkin scored two goals five minutes apart to give Pittsburgh a two-goal lead, the first coming with seven seconds left in the first and the latter coming on a SHG in the second period.
2008 -- May 11 -- In Game Two of the Conference Finals in Pittsburgh, the Pens won 4-2. Max Talbot scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period. Jeff Carter had a game-high 8 shots. Braydon Coburn was hit by a deflected puck and suffered a nasty injury to his left eye.
2008 -- May 13 -- In Game Three of the Conference Finals in Philly, the Pens won 4-1. Marian Hossa scored twice and the Flyers were held to 18 shots, a combined 10 from Jeff Carter and Mike Knuble.
2008 -- May 15 -- In Game Four of the Conference Finals in Philly, the Flyers won 4-2. The Flyers led 3-0 in the first. Jordan Staal scored consecutive goals in the third to narrow the score to 3-2. Joffrey Lupul's ENG, his second tally of the night, clinched the victory and had a game-high seven shots. There were a few altercations in the game's final moments. Scottie Upshall’s hit of Jordan Staal sparked a fight between Derian Hatcher and Ryan Malone. On the ensuing faceoff, Mike Richards and Sidney Crosby traded slashes and were tossed.
2008 -- May 18 -- In Game Five of the Conference Finals in Pittsburgh, the Pens advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals with a 6-0 win. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 21 shots, Marian Hossa had four points (1-3-4) and Ryan Malone (2-1-3) had two goals and seven shots.
2008 -- October 14 -- Pascal Dupuis scored with 10.8 seconds left in overtime and the Penguins won 3-2 in Pittsburgh. The game was scoreless through the first 34+ minutes but then the Penguins scored twice in 32 seconds. The Flyers rallied for a pair of goals within 21 seconds in the last minute of the middle period to draw even.
2008 -- November 13 -- The Flyers rallied from a 3-0 deficit to take a 4-3 lead but lost in a 6-round shootout, 5-4. Alex Goligoski scored the only goal in the shootout. Sidney Crosby tied it with 2:23 left in the third period with his second goal. Simon Gagne scored two SHGs during the four-goal second period that put the Flyers up 4-3. He became the third Flyers' player to score two SHGs in one period of a regular season game, joining Brian Propp (1985) and Bill Barber (1978). Kimmo Timonen played over 30 minutes.
